The Pinedes Park of Mini Villas and VillasThe Pinedes features approximately 60 villas and mini villas. Every individual house has a garden plot of 650m² to 950m² so there is plenty of space and privacy. The villas have all been built since 2005 - therefore they are more modern, well equipped and are perfectly insulated and heated. Each home is privately owned.
The Pinedes park provides to all its residents access to the recent (2011) large, free outdoor pool which is open from the 15th of June to the 15th of September. There are 2 play areas in the pool gardens as well. In the central park, there is an additional play area, free and reserved for Pinede park residents. Parking for a minimum of 2 cars is possible at each house. Campers, RVs and tents are not allowed in the park. Roads within the park are essentially one way access to ensure that the passage by any given villa is the same as another. The park is VERY quiet and restful. If you have a preference for a specific park location when booking through our resort services, you can make your request during the booking process by making a note in the comments section. We always try to accommodate your request.
Detals of the Charentaise
The Charentaise villas at Brossac lake in Charente in the Pinède park provide spacious separation between the living and sleeping areas. All the bedrooms open off the hallway giving this little bit more privacy and if someone wants to sleep in, the others won't have to tiptoe around! Every Charentaise house is owned by a different owner, and each owner has put in there little finishing touches and features making each one unique.
The lounge, dining area and kitchen are open plan and offer a bright light airy space. The well equipped kitchen comes with all the modern conveniences, with everything you need for your summer meals fixed at home from fresh produce acquired here in Charente and served either in or out on the terrace in full view of the natural landscape. There is a refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, 4 ring gas hob, extractor hood, microwave, a vast range of crockery, utensils and plenty of storage space. There is also a large wood table with seating for all your party and through double doors is the terrace which also has a large table for eating out “Al-Fresco”.
In the lounge, you will find a double sofa that can turn into extra sleeping for two people, coffee table and chairs. There is a television if you choose to stay in and watch. Certain charentaise rental houses are even equipped with foreign satellite service as well as the basic French satellite channels and others feature games such as Xbox etc. - if this is an important feature for you, please make sure to email us prior to reserving as not all villas are equipped. Most of the villas also have DVD players and mini stereo systems. The living area has been fitted with many windows to allow a bright living area and easy access to the terrace, which you will find becomes an extension of the living area in the summer, the seating area is in the covered area of the terrace that continues to the open terrace for those sun lovers, some villas have extended their terrace and fenced in the area to make a safe place for toddlers to play, if you would like an enclosed terrace please email and enquire which villas have these prior to reservation
Off the living area is the corridor to the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms.
BEDROOMS:
The 3 bedrooms have been designed with families in mind. The bedroom with the en-suite shower room always has a standard double bed, the 2nd bedroom always has 2 sets of bunk beds (each 90cmX 200cm) for up to 4 people. The 3rd bedroom has either 1 double bed or 2 twin beds. The twins can be pushed together if you prefer to use as a double. This makes a perfect set up for either 2 couples with their children or a family with the grandparents! Upon your arrival, you will find the beds each equipped with mattress protector, a duvet and 1 pillow per person. You may choose to rent bedlinens or towels if desired to make your travels even easier.
There are 2 bathrooms- one with a shower over a full size bath, sink unit and also houses the washing machine. The WC is separate just down the hall. The second bathroom is en-suite to the master bedroom and features a shower with glass enclosure, sink and WC.
