GENERAL RENTAL TERMS:

RentCharente.com proposes rentals located at Etang Vallier (Brossac Lake) in Brossac south charente, France.

RentCharente.com is a rental reservation interface for SARL Etang Vallier Services. The activities and the resort equipment are available according to the descriptions on the site : www.etangvallier.com and are not a condition of rental.

Rental Conditions :

TARIFS

The prices published on our website RentCharente.com include VAT tax and are per night per rental without extra options. According to the date and the type of rental, the minimum stay is from 1 to 7 nights. Departures are from 8am to 10am and arrivals from 4pm to 8pm.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Clients must leave the rental clean, arranged, furniture and equipment returned to its original place, dishes cleaned and put away, beds stripped and duvets folded. (mattress protectors must be left in place), rubbish, recyclables and glass must be removed and placed in the appropriate container.
  • The rental must be in perfect condition for the following arrival. End of stay cleaning is available as an option if you do not wish to do it yourself. The fee for end of stay cleaning is between 60 and 80€ depending on the type of rental.
  • Upon arrival, you must present yourself at the reception at the Clubhouse & Spa in the Resort area. The hours are from 4pm to 6pm all year and are extended to 4pm to 8pm in July and August. If you will arrive outside of these hours, please make an appointment by telephoning at least 24 hours in advance. You will be given 2 telephone numbers in your rental confirmation by email when you reserve on line.
  • For your departure, a maintenance person will come to your house to check it, reclaim the keys and read the electric metre. Your deposit will be returned to you within a maximum of 7 days following your departure.
  • The client (18 years of age minimum) accepts the general terms as a rental contract for holiday usage ONLY.
  • The costs of water and gas are included in the rental price. The cost of electricity are over an above the price of the rental and must be paid prior to departure (calculated at 0,09 € kWh in summer and 0,14 € kWh en hiver, according to the EDF tarifs. The price of electricity may be readjusted in function of the EDF tarifs
  • Holiday tax (e taxe de séjour) will be collected upon arrival according to local rates.
  • The client accepts the park rules (provided on arrival or available in the rental) and accepts to not engage in actvities that may disturb other clients nearby.
  • We are available 365/365 and 7/7 to greet you.
  • Beds are each equipped with a mattress protector, a duvet and one pillow per person. Sheets, duvet covers, bath towels are available as options and must be reserved in advance.
  • If you wish to modify a reservation, our services must cancel your initial reservation and then you must create a new reservation in its place. This service is free. Only promotions and special offers can not be modified or refunded.
  • Payment must be made within 48 hours of your reservation on line. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. The security deposit will be collected upon arrival before the keys are given.
  • Reservations will be held 48 heures after your expected arrival date.
  • In the case of early departure, no refunds will be made.
  • There are no additional reservation charges to the client.

 

CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

  • Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival will not be reimbursed. Full payment remains due.

 

RERSERVATION CONDITIONS

Reservations may be made only via our website using the calendars and availabilities shown in the search functions.
Confirmation of your reservation is sent immediately by email. Your reservation will be cancelled automatically if payment is not made as stipulated.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES

  • For arrivals: clients may enter the rental starting at 4pm. Late arrivals will be subject to a surcharge clearly indicated on your rental confirmation email: 45€ after 8pm (please keep us informed).
  • For departures: they will take place between 7am and 10am.
  • You must make an appointment for the departure check. You can schedule this upon arrival or during your stay on a 1st come 1st served basis for appointment times. Appointments may be scheduled between 7am and 10am according to staff availability.

 

CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

  • The security deposit is set at 250 €. This deposit which must be paid on arrival will be returned a maximum of 7 days after your departure by the post (generally cheques are adressed 2 days following departure) or by a credit to your bank card (made 2 days after departure).
  • Animal requirments : presentation of an European pet passport and vaccinations up to date. Dog breeds considered dangerous are formally forbidden.
  • Occupation : Occupation of the rental will be limited to the number of people indicated on the reservation form. There may not be more occupants than beds. We reserve the right to cancel the contract in case of abuse on the part of the client.

 

REMPLACEMENT or CANCELLATION

  • In the case of a force majeure (war, fire, flood, etc.), we will replace the rental reserved by another of identical or superior characteristics according to our availability, or we will reimburse the total amount paid.

 

CLAIMS

Claims may be made to the manager of SARL Etang Vallier Services. Claims must be made during the stay or they will not be honoured. If a problem arises during your stay, you must notify the manager so that we can do our best to rectify the situation immediately.

WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSABLE IN THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS :

  • Responsability which is attributable to a 3rd party (transportation, , restaurants, sporting events, etc ...).
  • Theft or damages caused by a third party.
  • For the use of pools, children's play areas or sports equipment of any type (for example tennis courts, football pitches, etc...) These are limited to the personal responsability of the user.
  • RentCharente.com is not responsable for construction works or road works near the rental in the case of noise.
  • Equipments that are not directly managed by SARL Etang Vallier Services are not a condition of rental
  • Rentals are separate from the activities proposed on the site www.etangvallier.com

SECURITY : Completing the order form is on the secured section of RentCharente.com. The web address always starts with : https://secure.rentcharente.com

The server communicates with you in a crypted and trustworthy manner. The reservation involves the automatic creation of an user account, the access codes will be sent to you in your confirmation email. These access codes, created automatically must be modified by the client and never given out.

Please note that we will never ask you for your access codes.

This interface allows the client to manage his reservation and to even pay the balance on line by credit card.

The payment part is made by the site Paypal that accepts the majority of credit cards.
RentCharente.com never has knowledge of the bank details of its clients.

Please note, that in order to guarantee you service, oiur site will save your personal details. These can be modified directly by the client by using his client interface. Every client has the right to modify or erase his personal details. In this case, please make your request by using the contact form.

MISCELLANEOUS

These conditions make the contract between you and the owner of your accommodation. Every owner has signed a commercial agreement with SARL Etang Vallier Services for the marketing of their home.
